Where This Story Began

This work began with my daughter.

She experienced delayed speech, and when I searched for books that truly spoke to her heart — stories that reflected her world and ignited her confidence — I couldn’t find what I was looking for.

So, I wrote them myself.

That choice changed my life.

What started as a mother’s act of love led to multiple award-winning children’s books, classroom adoption across the Detroit Public School District, and families telling me my stories became their children’s favorites.

More importantly, it revealed my calling:
